Our Story

I started selling online in 2007. Back then things were not as simple as they are today. I started with beauty products and pet accessories. I was also working a full time job in retail.

In 2020 I was blessed and started my small printing business. Unfortunately Covid-19 struck South Africa and I was retrenched and let go from my “safe” job. It was sink or swim after that.

I have an amazing family so obviously sinking was not an option for me. I grew my online shop from doggy beds to household goods, toys, shoes, clothing, perfume, jewellery and more. And still do the personalised and company printing as well.

I now do laser engraving as well

I plan on further growing my brand in the future by being able to provide 3d printing.



Personalised Printing

All personalised printing has a lead time of 7 to 14 working days before it is dispached or ready for collection.

Items may be personalised with pictures, dated, names and so forth.



All personalised jewellery has a lead time of 7 to 14 working days before it is dispached or ready for collection.

Perfumes

All perfumes has a lead time of 7 to 14 working days before it is dispached or ready for collection.

Perfumes are self made and tested. They are all available in 50ml glass bottles with spray nozzles.

Note that our perfumes has a perfect balance and are designed to last throughout the day.

Founder

My name is Darlene van Wyk, I am the founder of Dragonfly Gifts (Little Big Online Shop on Facebook).

I stay in a small town called Heidelberg in Gauteng with my husband and children. I love what I do and find it extreamly forfilling. Most of the time I work long hours to assure orders gets sent out promply.

I take a lot of pride in what I do and what i design and create. I believe it is very accurate when I say that a piece of my heart goes into every item that leaves my door.
